Join the Wild Mind team
POSITION: Psychologist/Psychotherapist
We are occasionally looking to expand our practice to include associates who can work alongside us and offer psychotherapy that is aligned with the Wild Mind approach. Our intention is to work closely with these practitioners, offering mentoring through peer supervision and other training/learning opportunities. If you’re interested, please read on…
What distinguishes a Wild Mind Psychotherapist?
We believe that all people can undo their psychological knots and find freedom, agency and a deep capacity for joy. In our work with clients we aspire to always have a clear sense of the terrain - why we are working, where we are in the work, and what success will look like. We aspire to offer finite therapy - not interminable check-ins.
We believe psychotherapy is a uniquely powerful process of healing. Our interest in embodiment practices, nature-connection, and psychedelics-assisted psychotherapy is not a substitute for rigorous and theoretically grounded psychodynamic psychotherapy. Instead, these other modalities serve to ground the interpersonal and intra-personal work within the transpersonal - a bigger context.
If you are a psychologist/psychotherapist who might be interested in working with Wild Mind, would enjoy a full practice with an interesting client-base, and embrace being supported to grow as a therapist please get in touch.
